Ruby and Westwater

This is what a multi-day rafting trip through Ruby and Westwater Canyon actually looks like.

You get on the raft, crack a drink, and watch canyon walls pass by. That’s the job. Arrive at camp, and by the time the tent is up, dinner’s already going. Steak and salmon over an open flame. Made-to-order omelettes. In the middle of nowhere.

Unzip the tent in the morning and that’s your view. Coffee. Water drifting by. Trading stories with people who were strangers the day before.

Then Westwater hit us with its biggest rapids yet. Tristan navigated us through like it was nothing.

Delicious steak dinners, wild whitewater, sleeping under the stars. We do it all again tomorrow.
