The best campsites usually aren’t in campgrounds

Imagine spending the day exploring mountain trails, then finding a cliffside spot just in time to make dinner during sunset. No neighboring tents, no generators, and no one else around when the stars came out.

We woke up for sunrise, made breakfast overlooking the mountains, and then kept exploring our way to Little Deer Creek Falls.

And somehow, this was all just over an hour from Salt Lake City.
