When they say the road is open, you go.

Route 20 had just opened into the North Cascades. We were already in Leavenworth, so it was the obvious next drive.

This morning we hiked the Diablo Lake Trail. Not a lot of lake views, but stunning snow-capped peaks and cloudless skies.
