Camping in the Alabama Hills

The Alabama Hills.

We stopped here on the way to Death Valley and watched sunrise without crawling out of bed. Coffee in town, then a morning walk.

Of all the times we’ve been near Lone Pine, we had no idea this was sitting right outside town.
